What personal information about does Golf80 collect?

The information we collect, helps us improve the Golf80 experience.

The only non-golf-related information is collected by Golf80 without your explicit information entry is your email. We keep your email so you can login with different social media Workspaces (e.g. Facebook and Apple) and get the same golf info.

Does Golf80 share any information collected?

No! We are not in the business of selling your information to others.

What about cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser.

Golf80 stores a cookie to be able to automatically log you into the site when you revisit. In your settings, you can disable this option. The cookie is cleared/deleted when you press the "Logout" link.

How secure is information about me?

Golf80 does not store any sensitive personal information other than your name and email. We take appropriate measures to securely store and protect your details.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

What happens when I unregister?

We first set your Workspace as "Unregistered" - which means that you will not be able to login or visit - we delete your sensitive personal information, such as username, email, password - but keep your social media referenece and scores alive in case you decide to visit us a again. Unregistered users do not receive any notifications from Golf80.

After keeping the Workspace for 6 months we delete scores and information to the point that we keep scores that are a part of leagues and tournaments which do still exist. At this point we can't recover all your scores or Workspace settings.

Promotional offers

Sometimes we send offers to selected groups of Golf80.com users on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name and email. All email include a link to unsubscribe from any future emails and offers.

The Golf80 team takes data security and integrity very seriously. We do however realize that we cannot prepare for everything, and in the case of unforseen events that compromises our safety and security plans - we do not take responsibility for your data
